How safe is it to work from home answering surveys online?

I'm a stay at home mom who is trying to make some extra cash. I keep coming across different web sites offering to work from home, making upto $3000. - $5000. a month. Answering surveys, shopping jobs, grants, driving. Is it safe? It sounds to good to be true. Can anyone help?

How safe is it to work from home answering surveys online?
Make sure the companies are real ones. There have been countless cases of identity theft from these "surveys". If you can get a good company than you can make a lot of money if you do a lot of them every day.
Reply:Avoid surveys where you have to pay a joining fee, others are legit. You can try freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://www.pcworkathome.net . Reply:1. WelI I actually take surveys for cash. And yes they do pay as long as you know the good ones. I have some free survey sites that are very reliable just check out my profile by clicking my name or email me for them. I only give sites that I've been paid by so you won't get scammed. They're all reliable and I've never had a problem with them. (I've been doing them for a year now) The best part is that anyone can do them and they're easy. You won't get rich but they definitely help with bills :)

Reply:If you sign up with legitimate paid survey sites, it IS safe. Remember do NOT pay anyone to take surveys and get paid, and do NOT pay a membership fee just for a paid survey sites - instead visit one of the good FREE paid survey directory sites, such as http://www.mysurvey123.com - they have free lists of legit paid survey sites with reviews/ratings, and paid survey guides/advice for beginners etc.





Mystery shopping is also legit, but same rule applies, never PAY anyone to do mystery shop jobs, and do not fall the check-cash scam which the scammers ask you to cash in some kind of checks, it is a big scam.
Reply:Most online survey sites are scams. Never ever pay to join a survey site. There are legitimate survey sites out there, however you will usually only be able to make around 10-15 dollars a month per site (and that is a good month). The truth is, there is no one out there that is willing to pay you a lot of money for filling out surveys all day.
