I am not looking for take surveys from home stuff, and I don't want a sight that say free then when you get to the end of the page they give you a price. If you have tried it please let me know, I'm tired of waisting my time with this.

Customer service is a big part of Gap Inc's online sites. The company refers to all of their brand websites (Gap.com, Old Navy.com, Banana Republic.com) as "Gap Inc Direct".
The websites offer as much information as possible, leaving little opportunity for unanswered questions that an online user might have. The main areas of customer service on the website are: explanation of shipping costs and methods, how to go about returns/exchanges, store locator, size charts, and accessing personal account information (for placing orders or checking your credit card statement). Links are provided on the websites for contact information - by mail, email, or phone # in case there are any problems placing an order, or if a customer has a question about the merchandise.
The target market for the websites is probably the same target market for the stores. However, older people may not be familiar with, or may not be trusting of purchasing items online (for technology reasons, or for security reasons). I can't say for sure what the actual target markets are, but a good estimate would be: Old Navy: females age 15-30, males age 18-30. Of the female group, there are probably a lot of mothers with young children that do online shopping. For the Gap: males %26amp; females age 18-40. (these are my educated guesses).

But if you are asking that if someone refers someone else to shop on the website, does it influence buying behavior, then the answer is yes. For people that are hesitant to shop online (for whatever reason) but they know someone who has done it before and the experience was pleasant, then it may have an influence on that person to try online shopping.

Dear friend, I am conducting a survey and I want to stop anyone taking survey again in 24 hours. For example, if I take survey today, it should stop me taking again in next 24 hours. It is a samll survey, so I will be going by participants’ full name. I am using PHP.
Any suggestion regarding this will be appreciated.

For example AOL, EARTHLINK resuses IP address so you might block a new user from taking survey because IP was used by someone earlier. I believe use a database to store username(FIRST LAST NAME) and timestamp it, then if they enter the same username within the timeframe it will deny them access with outputs like the previous example... I can only tell you that MOST people in our United States of America today do NOT know what the old movie theaters of the 1950s and before were like! Today's people in our country only know the stucco cereal box type theaters of the 1970s and later!
The glamorous nature of going to a theater to see a movie during the week or on a weekend is GONE! They were so luxurious once! No longer do news-reels have any relevance when a computer can bring up more news media information in one minute than an hour and a half of celluloid news reels of the past! It was so different then!
All I can say is, think up different categories and ways of asking in short sentence fragments, and "google it" ! ! ! ! And good luck friend!

It's a scam. You have to give them all kinds of personal data and then get entered into a drawing to "win". If you do "win", you have to pay an outrageous amount of shipping charges. In any case, you'll get mountains of junk mail (both in your real-life mailbox and your e-mailbox) for the rest of your natural life. In the worst case, you run the risk of becoming a victim of identity theft.

Why do you allow advertising companies to hijack your web pages?
i have been trying for 30 minutes to check the tv guide but some ad firm's survey keeps logging me out. cdn.eyewonder.com. someone should be sued for this invasion of privacy and hinderance to intenet access.

Pinecone Research for example pays only $5 per survey, and they can send you anywhere from 1-5 surveys a month. To participate, however, you must be part of a desired demographic group as studies are farmed out based on your profile (e.g. mothers of babies from 0-12 months old).
Avoid those companies that requires you to pay to participate in the panel. Legitimate ones do not do that; afterall, their clients (mostly brand names and biggest companies who have the money to pay for market research) pay them and all they need to do is to find the right demographics for their clients.

The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.
Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.
Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

I have a web site on a dedicated Linix server with PHP and PERL ability. I am looking for an inexpensive 3rd party solution or a public GNU PERL or PHP script.

I have seen alot of the paid to take survey sites where you have to pay to get the links. Are they sincerely legit? Do they have links to sites and surveys that I would not get from doing web searches? Has anyone signed up for these and if so please tell me your experiences!

Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.
Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

Hi,
I am writing a thesis and would like to set-up a survey on the web: a website where I can ask my subjects to go, answer questions some of which are multiple choice, and to have the answers collected. I would like to be able to give my subjects a password to use to enter the website or some other way of controlling who goes in and out. Many thanks

You have obviously conducted some research, gathered some data and now want to analyse this data statistically to enable you to draw some conclusions. SPSS is a statistical software package but at the end of the day it takes the time and labour out of the calculations. You really must know what you are trying to do. SPSS is a tool and you must know and why to use such tools. I am sorry if this sounds a bit of a lecture but as an examiner I have to tell you this is the truth. But let's try to help you. 'Discovering Statistics Using SPSS' by Andy Field is an excellent book. Try to get a copy from the library.

Those are very reliable bcz, the money will be deposited in a common account before work starts. Visit http://www.hiindians.com/work-from-home to get the of best freelancer and work from home websites. Getting a bid is difficult initially. Once you suceed in getting one job work, you are done. Try to bid all works you can do with mimimum bid.
