Get paid for surveys : is get paid for surveys online a quickly system to make money?

On the web I've found some informations about get paid for surveys , is a safe system?...I believe that make money online is a dream of most people..but I woul like avoid a scam, get paid for surveys could be a quickly money system?

I'm a newbie..sorry. On the web I've read that get paid for surveys is one of the most method to earn big bucks...please help me.

Get paid for surveys : is get paid for surveys online a quickly system to make money?
Survey's require a lot of time, and you won't make what they claim you will. A few friends of mine put a bunch of survey's sites to a test to see if they really work.(14 a peice, different sites-do the math on how many we went through, including the ones you had to pay to get into.) We spent six months on these sites. They're not anything what people say they are. They are fun and you do receive free items. They're not "scams" but I just want you to know that there's more to them then what your being led to beleive. Yes they are easy to do, but very time consuming.

You can make some money, however the time required in doing survey's is more then you think when you add it all together. Plan on spending 8 to 10 hours a day and average out at minimum wage. Sometimes you will hit good surveys that will pay you a lot, but what's required to get that is a lot too. In calculating what you got paid and the time involved in these higher paying, still averages out to minimum wage, and usually less. It's a psychological thing because the time is spread out on these, so it doesn't seem to be long. But we did the documentations and figured the time vs money.

Here's how the survey's work. You have to spend aprox 10 to 15 minutes per each site to register. (this is non paid) Then you'll start receiving emails for surveys. Each survey you have to complete a 15 to 20 minute pre-qualifying survey. (you dont get paid for this) Then if you do qualify for a survey (which majority of the ones you don't qualify for. so you've wasted this 15 to 20 minutes and sometimes longer of non paid time.) Then if you don't qualify for one, they offer another and you have to do the same thing, and the same thing happens.) You waste approx 45 minutes to an hour until you finally qualify for a survey. You take a 30 to 45 minute survey and make under $10. Normally it's $1 to $3 a survey that they claim takes 15 minutes. That's not including the 15 minute prequalifying survey. So you've now spent thirty minutes and made $3. And the process between each of the survey sites is the same. So you can pretty much do the math. It averages out to be between $2 to $6 an hour. Sometimes you do come across a survey that will pay you $25 to $75 a survey.

Here's how they work. It could be a telephone survey or a internet survey. You get the prequalifying part of 10 to 20 minutes then if you qualify for it another 15 to 30 minute survey or a telephone survey about the product your about to try to see if you qualify to try it. Even though you took a 10 to 20 minute "prequalifying survey" that said you qualify for. When you qualify for it, they send you a product out to try for 7 to 10 days and you do some daily documentations on it. Depending on what the product is and the documentations it's usually 2 - 15 minutes (you got a free product to use around the house, this is a good part of it) after trying the product out you have to complete another survey that takes between 15 to 30 minutes to do. Now you do the calculations on that. You don't get as many of these types of survey's. They use the hype on getting paid $25 to $75 dollars for 15 minute surveys. (notice the plural in "surveys". What they don't tell you is that there is more then one survey involved in these. Now calculate from your prequalifying survey to the next pre-qualifying survey from the company carrying the product, to the trial and documentations, to the last survey on these products. Then you receive a check four weeks to six weeks later.

Another way to earn money on survey sites, is to refer people over to the sites. why your getting links to different survey's here. Which is great for them to do, refer you over to what they're doing and be able to get something out of it. Some survey sites will give you a percentage on what the people you refer buy off the sites as they get a percentage back off of what they buy. It's about 1% or less. You either get a lot of points for this that when you reach a curtain amount of points you can exchange it for cash or prizes. (Cash amount is usually $30 before you can cash out- do the math on how many pre-qualifying surveys and the surveys you get, the time involved etc this is what it takes to earn the $30) Other survey sites you complete shorter surveys (5 to 15 minutes) and your entered into sweepsteaks or lottery things for prizes or money.

Okay, I'm starting to write a book. I can go on about all the other types of survey's available and what was in volved in that if you'd like me to elaberate on it.

I do survey's because it does help the marketing on different products and they do use the opinions of what things look like and what not. So I do it for the principle of the matter.

If you'd like some links to various survey's, feel free to email me and I'll send them over to you. You really have to register for a lot of different sites. The paid survey sites offer the same survey's as the non paying ones. Granted calculate what you spent on this site to what you received, it averages out to be below minimum wage. If your doing this to make a living off of, you will be disappointed. But just for some extra cash, it's a good source and like I said, the companies do document the feedback and use it to better advertise their products and in some cases come out with new products based on the imput of the surveyers.

If you want to work from home, (assuming this is why you want to do survey's) I suggest you start your own home based business. Not a home "job", they only pay minimum wage as well. There are so many different home based business to start up. Most home based business cost under $500 to start. They have the same income opportunity as traditional businesses without alot of over head expenses and they are easier to run and manage.

Not knowing what you like to do, I'm not sure who to refer you over to and get information from. I can tell you what my husband and I have for the past 6 years and refer you over to my blog that I created on Home Based Businesses on my 360 page. Your more then welcome to go and take a look for some more ideas. We have our own home based business and it supports our entire family of 6 (we have 4 children ages 10, 6, 3 and 1)

We got involved in the Telecommunications industry, like I said a little over 6 years ago. We picked this one because the income opportunity is just incredible, as it is in most home based businesses. But in this, it seemed more practical. We partnered up with a 15 year old world wide company that offers services that people use every day and pay for anyway. Services like Local and Long distance telephone services, Internet, digital, video, VOIP, Satallite TV, and all the major cellular phone providers as well. Wireless Phones and services from Verizon, T-mobile, AT%26amp;T, Spring, Alltel, Nextell etc.

How many people do you know, or know of around the world that uses one or more of these services? We save people money on services that they are already using and paying for, and offer them services that they don't have. Every single month these people pay these bills that they are going to every month anyway, we make a percentage. You get paid every single month for these services over and over again. This is a very profitable business to get involved in.

Reply:Hi, paid surveys is an easy way to make extra money, however, you don't make big bucks..not a job to pay bills, also for beginners, it takes a while to see money coming in.

Make sure don't pay anyone to take surveys. It's always FREE. Check out http://www.MySurvey123.com - they have FREE lists of legit paid survey sites, as well as paid survey advice/guide and reviews/ratings..Good luck!
Reply:I been doing surveys for many years. Its a great way to earn some cash but I dont recommend it as the main source for income.

I currently market Paid Survey programs but my main way to make money online are doing Big Ticket Items.

Here is my personal website, tell me what you think:

Reply:You won't earn "BIG BUCKS" but you can earn extra money. There are dozens of survey sites available, but you have to avoid the ones that are scams. Don't waste your time on any sites that require you to sign up for "special offers" before completing surveys. Also you should NEVER have to provide credit card information or make any payments to sign up to complete surveys. A list of good survey companies (I have tried them all) is here: http://thriftyjinxy.blogspot.com/2008/03...
Reply:NO - surveys are not going to make the money that people dream of. .... except for the person who set up the site. Been there, done that.
Reply:some survey sites are complete scams and its hard to find if they are real or not. they have sites that give you good survey sites. my favorite is www.letsfindmoney.com

they have reviews of the survey sites and the pros and cons so you can chose what you like. i usually take the ones with instant payouts
Reply:Hi,

paid surveys are a great system to make money online quickly, the big companies will pay you to answer they questionnaires, the secret to earn some decent bucks is sign-in with more of this companies (100-200), in this mode you will be sure that you'll have a lot of surveys every month.

Reply:I remember those days when i almost get mad to find one free survey site that really pay us without charging a fee. The fact is that there are so many survey sites in internet who actually charges a registration fee. I tell you what, run as far as you can, if they ask you money to join their survey site. Any legimate survey site, will not ask you money to join them%26lt;!--They actually have to pay us if we join them. Some people do not understand this, and they pay and later they suffer and get frustrated. So is there really any Survey site that pays us? The Answer is, Yes. I am personally getting paid by a Survey site and please find the below website and register yourself for free,

http://surveyadventure.awardspace.com/

The best part is that, after you register and confirm the email sent, you will have a chance to win a car. The fun part is that they pay you money for playing games. And you get sometimes $50 for completing offers. Check out the offers area when you log in, you earn more. I personally get paid and you could trust them--%26gt;since they dont ask you any money, you could give a try, there is nothing to lose. I am sure you will be happy at the end of the week seeing money in your account. Have a great day ahead...!

Reply:Never ever pay to take surveys. The genuine survey companies will never make you pay for one. (just a good rule of thumb). There are some free ones out there that do pay. I made a yahoo page showing the ones that have paid me. One that is not listed on there though and I am too lazy to figure out how to edit my webpage, is Baker St. Solutions. (just type the name in Google, I think its the second link that comes up) They pay by Amazon gift certificates. I usually recieve around 2 surveys a month from them. But check out my site and good luck!

Reply:1. WelI I actually take surveys for cash. And yes they do pay as long as you know the good ones. I have some free survey sites that are very reliable just check out my profile by clicking my name or email me for them. I only give sites that I've been paid by so you won't get scammed. They're all reliable and I've never had a problem with them. (I've been doing them for a year now) The best part is that anyone can do them and they're easy. You won't get rich but they definitely help with bills :)

2. Btw a lot of the ones above are spammers and I wouldn't trust them
Reply:Most online survey sites are scams. Never ever pay to join a survey site. There are legitimate survey sites out there, however you will usually only be able to make around 10-15 dollars a month per site (and that is a good month). The truth is, there is no one out there that is willing to pay you a lot of money for filling out surveys all day.

Below is a partial list of legitimate online survey companies:

Survey Savvy

Haris Poll Online

Greenfield Online

Opinion Outpost

Survey Spot

Buzzback

NPD Online

Lightspeed Panel

Your2Cents

Feel free to use a search engine to visit their websites yourself, or you can visit my website at:

I have all the links available as well as information on each site including:

Minimum Payout

Average $ Per Survey

Survey Invitation Frequency

Referral Program

Minimum Age

I don't charge you anything for this information, but I have worked very hard compiling it so I would appreciate it if you bookmarked the page and checked out my sponsors.

Hope this helps!
Reply:Although many of the survey sites are scams, their are still plenty of them that are legit.

Never join any sites that require a sign up fee as they are almost always scams.

I have been taking paid surveys for nearly a year now, it takes me around 10 minutes every second day, and I make about $80 - $100 a month which isn't bad for the amount of time it takes me.

My favourite sites are: Nielson Net Ratings, NPD, Ipsos and Cashcrate.

Check out this site I found which have reviews for each of the sites and more info on them:

Reply:I've done surveys for a long time and I created a whole blog about FREE surveys. I posted tutorial videos, proof of payment (checks), legit survey sites, and contact info if you want more guidance or have questions.

Sorry ny friends but $2 dont buy even buy a gal of gas today ! WEE can discuss this you can contact me through my profile !

and what i have to tell will blow away every post you see here ! 590,000 people joined and 50,000 more every month ya Curious now ?
Reply:There are ways to make money online, but you won't get rich off of a single website. You'll have to join more than one if you want to make a decent amount of money. You have to be at least 13 years of age, but the following website lists a decent amount of sites that pay you to read e-mail, take surveys, refer friends, play games, and sign up for other offers. Plus, I list how much money I get paid each month from each website. They are all legit, I guarantee it.

Here's the website: http://empress-emily.livejournal.com/
Reply:Hi,

I know that there are a lot of scams out there offering easy money. I have tried many and there are a couple of survey sites I would recommend.

Below in the source box i listed my favourite sites. You don't have to; but if you like this sites please note my name as your referral.

These sites are honestly free to join and you can make money simply by completing daily surveys and if you have a little extra time by completing the 100% free offers---which involve clicking no for a couple of minutes.

(Most importantly I have always been paid right away)

The first 4 sites will pay by check or paypal. The 5th site is a bit of a pain, but it’s easy money. The last site will pay in points that can be easily converted into dollars. (plus the Spiderbyte site is kinda fun and user friendly) Also another site worth checking out is Cashcrate. You won’t make thousands of dollars per month because that is honestly not possible---the sites that promise you this are straight up lying. But with these sites it is easy to make an extra few hundred bucks a month.

When creating your profile---keep your interests very broad and open so you can be selected for more surveys. And also I recommend setting up a new e-mail address. Most importantly Never, ever give out your credit card information or ssn information. Likely you understand this; it’s just that sometimes company’s can be very tricky and their offers really temping. As a personal note I actually work in customer care for a credit card company and I have unfortunately seen way too many times where company’s offering free trials will continue to bill people for months. Which is a headache for all involved. (Accept lol for the sneaky company)

Hope this helps! :)
Reply:This is very cool, and having tried it, can vouch that it works!

This might also interest you?

I stumbled across this site the other day and it is currently running a great free offer.

They are giving away an 80 page guide to making money on eBay for FREE!

I downloaded it and read it and it's really pretty good for a freebie :)

You have to sign-up to become an affiliate, but this is again free, and you are under no obligation to buy anything.

I was sceptical at first, but like I say, I got the free eBook and it's better than the last one I paid for!

I've also started to promote the product they sell and have already made $50 in just 8 days - not bad I thought :)

Reply:yes, it does give u a little push but if you want big bucks then dont rely on paying surveys and such. there is a site however that i use that has been reliable and i think its just what u r looking for

if you join using this link i can get 20% of ur earnings!!..its a win win!..but dont worry, u dont lose 20%..=]
Reply:Hello Hi even though I'm a house wife i make a good handsome income monthly working from home on my computer from internet. If a house wife could make a handsome income you can also make money on internet at your part time or full time with confident.
Reply:Completing surveys is a great fun way to earn a little extra, but it's certainly not a get rich quick scheme as you'll only earn a few dollars a time for most surveys, and will be lucky to earn more than $100 to $200 in an average month.

Just remember that you should never pay anything to complete surveys, not for the information and not for any products you are required to test. You won't even ever need to give credit card details, although once you qualify for a payout, some companies may wish to pay via your bank account.

Go to one of the free survey directories like http://www.whichsurveys.com and just work through the list of companies signing up for as many as you can. You'll only get a few surveys a month at most from each company so you need to sign up with more than just one or two panels if you want to get regular work.
