Do u have to put a laptop plug into the phone switch to use the internet?

Polls and surveys. If i get a laptop and have web and walk then i dont need to use a plug cause web and walk means u can surf the internet while sitting on the bus or in a car or train or tram

you have to hook it up just like a desktop... if you have wireless that's what you use.. if you have dsl that's what you use.. if you just have regular modem that is what you will use
Reply:the web and walk thing is more for phones if you wish to use the Internet whilst your out you need a wifi card if your laptop doesn't have wifi built in and you need to connect to a signal from the closes point some have passwords and charge you for them and if your lucky you can pick up a unsecured line and use the Internet for free

Reply:Your talking of 3 G uses a phone card, so where there is a mobile service it should work. There are only certain new laptop have these facilities
